Stage 12: NEUSSERLING - GRAMASTETTEN

From the church, we walk along Hansberg Landesstraße towards Gramastetten. 200 m after the village sign, we turn right; after 100 m, we continue straight on to Lassersdorf. 

There, we follow the road towards Wieshof. After 150 m, on a hill, we turn left onto the forest path, past the Untereder farm, until we reach the tarmac road. About 30 m past the Knollmayr farm, we turn left onto the “Vordernußböck” path. 

The path leads steeply downhill for around 500 m to the “Limberg/Wieshof” junction. There, turn left first, then right towards Wieselmühle, continuing along the Ranitz to Rodl. We now follow the river to the popular Gramastetten Forest Bathing Area. There are two options for walking up to the village of Gramastetten. 

Option 1: Coming from the Waldbad, we turn left and after a few metres turn right onto the Oberer Forstweg. We follow this to the edge of the forest. There, you can make a detour to the viewing platform of the Jahresstiege or follow the path directly, past the Generationengarten to the residential oasis below the retirement home. Then turn right and after 50 m left onto the footpath to the church.
 

Option 2: Coming from the Waldbad, we keep to the right along the Rodl forest path until we reach the start of the Jahresstiege. Once at the top, we keep to the left towards the road, then turn right below the flats and after 50 m we turn left onto the footpath towards the church.
