Stage 14: OTTENSHEIM - WILHERING

On our stage from Ottensheim to Wilhering, we retrace the route we took on Stage 1, but in the opposite direction. 

From Ottensheim Church, the path leads straight downhill across the market square to the Danube. Next to the ‘Donauhof’ inn, we board the Danube ferry. 

It takes us to the other side of the river. Once there, we follow the Treppelweg to the left – which is signposted as such – until we reach a playground. 

There, we turn slightly right onto Fritz-Fröhlich-Weg. The dirt track leads us towards the abbey. We arrive at the sports field of the abbey grammar school. 

From there, we can’t miss the path straight ahead into the abbey courtyard towards the abbey church.
