Pilgrim's room Eidenberg
The Wilheringer Weg, which opened in April 2026, connects Wilhering Abbey with the Cistercian Abbey of Hohenfurth/Vyšší Brod in South Bohemia over a distance of around 132 kilometres. The pilgrimage route runs from the Danube through the Mühlviertel region to the Vltava, linking two countries and two Cistercian abbeys with close historical ties.
Stage 2 of the pilgrimage route runs from Puchenau to Eidenberg in the Danube region of Upper Austria. The pilgrims’ room at the Eidenberg parish house is an ideal place to stay overnight.
